PIONEER MEN'S BASKETBALL

HEAD COACH Brandon Treat
Brandon Treat has been hired to lead the men's basketball program and also work as an assistant coach in the Pioneer baseball program.
Treat, an alumnus of Crowley's Ridge College and a recent graduate of Arkansas State University, will inherit a solid basketball team for the upcoming 2007-08 season.
"I've had my eyes on Brandon since he played at CRC. He was one of those players on the court that I thought would make a great coach some day. He was a smart player who used his abilities as a guard to his advantage." said Paul McFadden, CRC Athletic Director. "What Brandon lacks in experience he makes up for it with an excitement and passion for the game of basketball. We are excited to have Coach Treat as part of our CRC family."
Having competed in the Association of Christian College Athletics as a player, Treat now takes on the ACCA as a coach. "Coaching has always been a dream of mine and especially to return to the school where I played." said Treat. "I'm excited with this year's team and the depth that we will have. " Treat added. The Pioneers return six players from last year's Runner-up National Champions who lost to Champion Baptist College out of Hot Springs, Arkansas in the finals of the ACCA tournament played in Bethany, Oklahoma.
Treat is married to the former Hilary Jetton, also an alumnus of CRC.
