Did your church host a CRC Day for
Crowley's Ridge College
on June 8th?
If so, please know that CRC is very grateful to your church and to everyone who participated. You are helping CRC make a difference in our churches of tomorrow.
Several churches have already begun sending in their gifts. Some churches have told us they will mention CRC Day for the next couple of Sundays to increase their overall total raised for CRC Day. Some churches are giving CRC all or part of a 5th Sunday collection. As of mid June, CRC Day gifts were more than $40,000. We anticipate this total climbing through mid-July. We hope that you can help us get the total up to our goal of $75,000!
If your church did not have a CRC Day yet, we hope that you still will. Just pick any convenient Sunday between now and December 31, 2008. Please let us know if you still plan to host a CRC Day sometime this year.
After CRC Day, here are some suggestions that may help:

A representative from CRC will be happy to pick up your CRC Day gifts. Please contact us from the information below.

Churches frequently put all their CRC Day gifts in a single oversized envelope and mail them to CRC.

Please keep the individual gifts separate from the church gift. CRC plans to send each person that we have record of a thank you for their CRC Day gift.

CRC will also send each church a thank you giving their overall CRC Day total.
If your church is still planning to host a CRC Day this year, here are the ways that churches generally participate in CRC Day:

Take up a special contribution for CRC Day on any convenient Sunday. (Note: this method generally results in largest CRC Day gifts)

Pass the basket in the adult Bible classes.

Give a 5th Sunday contribution in addition to what the church collected for CRC Day to help increase the congregation’s CRC Day gift total.

No collection, a check is sent from the church.

Place a CRC Day Display box in a key location and encourage members to insert their CRC Day envelopes into it. (CRC has CRC Day boxes and envelopes)
